Different from many other business accelerators, the Durham Ambitious Business Start-Ups (DABS) programme offers two unique support packages. One for those who have a great idea and have not yet started their business, and another for those new entrepreneurs at the start of their exciting journey. You’ll benefit from tailored support to maximise the success of your business.
As part of the programme the team has a number of free online workshops coming up in October/November, they include:
- 13th October 2020 – Innovation and Opportunity
This interactive workshop will use a range of technology, tools and principles to help you to effectively identify, evaluate and validate new business opportunities. You’ll be supported to build an architecture that allows innovation to thrive throughout your business, while managing the risks of disruption. You will learn a range of design thinking and lean validation methods to help you to maximise potential opportunities and income streams. This workshop has been specifically developed to support ambitious new businesses under 12 months of trading to scale and grow.
- 10th November – Customer Analytics for Growth
This highly interactive workshop will help you to steal a march on your competitors. We will help you create an understanding of the power of data, analytics and artificial intelligence and how this can really drive growth in your business. This will give you the foundations for cultivating an analytics-based mind-set and help you to explore ways to embed this across your organisation.
- Saturday 21st November – DABS Teams
If you are looking to start a new ambitious business and are open to the idea of collaboration, then DABS Teams is for you. This highly interactive workshop brings together potential co-founders to build high performing teams. Using creative channels, including escape rooms, this will help you to identify your strengths and areas where you could benefit from collaboration. This will give you a great personal learning experience as well as a route to a stronger business.
