We are pleased to announce on Wednesday 6th January 2021 our DABS Social Live and Learning online networking event is back with our guest speaker Scott Wilson-Laing from Sunderland, who was inspired to launch WL Distillery after developing a passion for sampling local delicacies whilst volunteering as an archaeologist overseas.

Having spent three years studying and travelling in destinations such as Pompeii, Cyprus, Turkey and Germany, Scott returned home. After years working in a number of 9am-5pm roles, he decided to fuse his love for the North East with his passion for producing and sampling niche local drinks.

Join us and hear Scott’s journey and the pivot points he has had to go through during Covid.
