The Bishop of Time

The Bishop of Time is an iconic statue to stand in the heart of Bishop Auckland town centre. At present this is a prototype but having met the local MP and been given the green light, we are only one step away from bringing history to life and making The Bishop of Time a reality. We have lots of associated merchandise to sell alongside The Bishop of Time including mugs, teddy bears, notebooks, fridge magnets, rulers, t-shirts and many more. These will be for sale in our local partners within the Spanish Galleries, the Auckland Palace or our innovative pop up shop. The statue itself has solar panels to help power the clock (which will always tell the correct time), the interactive screen the Davy lamp, sitting on the heart of the statue. The screen will have exciting and up to date information (updated remotely) highlighting all that Bishop Auckland has to offer. The touch screen has different age groups for interactive information and guidance to the past, present and future of exciting places to visit within Bishop Auckland and the surrounding areas.
