Future Business Magnates is a business planning competition for secondary schools. It has been established for over seventeen years in County Durham and has grown from modest beginnings to a competition that now involves the majority of schools within the County.
Each year a different theme is chosen to help participating teams develop their business idea. Previous themes have involved teams using their creativity and innovation skills to develop a new use for light, using technology in the home to make improvements to everyday living or looking at solutions to the impacts of climate change.
